Preauthorized Lateral Job Change List

This list provides all of the lateral jobs to which incumbents in the selected position code can move; i.e., be transferred, reassigned, or demoted. If the job change is to any level lower than indicated on the preauthorized lateral job change list then Civil Service review of the qualifications is not necessary. Since classes listed are not necessarily interchangeable, you must check each specific position code before making a lateral job change.
